Back in my teenage years, I never understood why guys buy bank-breaking, expensive engagement rings and wedding rings for their ladies. I always thought it was a financially irresponsible thing to do. As I'm writing this, I just read that the average amount spent on an engagement ring is around five grand! My goodness, and let's not even go into the average cost of the wedding itself.... $65,824! Man...I can buy a car with that money, or use it as a down payment for a house. Even when my ex-girlfriend talked to me about engagements rings and all that good stuff, I always looked at her like she had six heads. But what happened in summer of 2019 changed my mind about this whole thing. I was in Atlanta for the Art of Success Summit hosted by the one of the greatest business and mindset coaches, David Neagle. He was hosting a Q&A session about a new program he was launching and someone asked him, "Why are the prices of your programs so expensive?" And he replied, "Because...it shows that you're committed..." At that moment, I finally understood why people spend so much money on wedding stuff. To show the ultimate commitment of two people willing to be together for the rest of their lives. Let this be a lesson to carry over to your business. Don't be afraid to charge high prices for the products or services you offer. Sure you might drive away more people than you're used to, but you'll also attract the most committed ones. And those are the best people you'll work with. If you don't believe me, think about this. How likely are you to actually use information you get for free from an opt in page compared to buying a product with a three-figure, or even four-figure price tag? Most people would pay a lot more attention to the product they paid a lot of money for compared to free products. They usually open it once and leave it in their computer and collect cyber dust.
