My purpose isn’t to make you laugh. My purpose isn’t to make you like me. My purpose isn’t to make you believe. My purpose is to reach inside you and find that place that you thought was hidden to the outside world and help you bring it, just beneath the surface, so it’s still hidden to the rest of the world, but in its raw annoying reality, makes your audience think, makes your audience act, make your audience attend to the will of emotional connection bringing the meaning of my words to your head, your heart, and your soul.
This is what your essence is constructed of. This is what you will use, from this day forward, to communicate meaning to your audiences’ life, thus adding, at the same time, more value and meaning to your own life.
It is through that realization of self, that will make you a better speaker, because, then, you will be able to use the tools of the speaker who sincerely wants to, not only reach the audience, but to change the thoughts and the actions of individuals in the audience. To excite them. To stoke the flames of emotion in them. That is my goal. To reach your audience, the people you serve. I will reach your audience through you. I will make your audience’s life better, more profitable, more fulfilled…through you.
