Above everything else, rebuilt and remanufactured 47RE options also help to get those parts out of the junkyard and out of the scrap yard. At the end of the day, I personally believe that the best transmission replacement option for a 47RE transmission is a remanufactured one. A remanufactured transmission is nearly as reliable as a new transmission yet is much cheaper.
