Credibility is hard to come by online because most people will never meet you. They want to know that you are a real person and that you are not trying to rip them off. An autoresponder is a service that will automatically handle all of your subscribes and unsubscribes, as well as send out your messages automatically. You want to use a service like this because it will save you a lot of time because you won't have to handle these tasks. This can become time consuming, and it's a waste of your time. What you want to look for in an autoresponder is a service that is reliable. You want a service tht will deliver your messages. If you can't afford to pay for a good service up front, find a good free service to get your started. The disadvantage here is that free autoresponders include third party advertising. This will distract your readers. Upgrade as soon as you can. Once you find a good autoresponder, then you need to add your messages to it. Offer some type of free report. Check with the affiliate programs you are involved in and see which ones offer free reports that are brandable. Brand the reports and add them to your autoresponder. In your autoreponder message, send your visitors to a download page to get the report and make some type of offer on the page. Once you have everything set up, you need to get the subscription code and add it to your pages. If you offer a content site, then make sure you add it to every page. If you have a list building page, then simply add it to that page. After you complete all of the steps, then promote your list. Write free classifieds, articles, or a press release and post these materials. If you have a content site, submit to the search engines. Add your list to as many ezine directories as possible. Join free giveaways and promote. This is an easy way to get new subscribers. There are so many ways to promote your list for free. Promote every chance you get. Let everyone you know about your list.
