Common printing papers are the ones often used everyday by offices, business establishments, print media, educational institutions and many others. They weigh from 70 grams to 100 grams. Sometimes, there are available common printing papers that weigh up to 110 grams for hardcore printing activities. This type of paper printer is not smooth or glossy, just like any other papers that we see in schools (test papers for instance). Purchasing common printing paper should also need to be done carefully and meticulously. Buy only those that are branded because you can be assured of the quality. Printing papers that are with poor quality also begets poor printing output. Common printing papers are also called general purpose papers.
Professional Printing Paper
There are several types of professional printing papers. These include high density color laser printer paper, high gloss paper, photo laser paper, waterproof paper, brochure paper, A size printer paper, wide format inkjet paper and many others. These printer papers are usually twice as thick as the common printing paper.
Glossy magazines, certificates, photos, cards, brochures, flyers, and others are usually made with professional printing papers. Since magazine, certifications and other sorts carry important role in communication, information dissemination, or a proof of recognition, they have to be printed with long lasting type of printing paper. The high density composition of the paper makes it fit for colored ink, heavily graphical printing. It is also has protection against water and other things that may cause damage to the paper.
