With this chiropractics method, the patient will lay face down on the table and the doctor will gently help to stretch the lower spine with slow, careful movements. It has been found very useful for those who have specific problems with their spinal discs, like herniated or ruptured discs. It was created to mimic the body's natural form to make the healing process natural as well. The stretching motions are believed to help reduce muscles spasms and increase the blood flow through the treated areas, speeding up their recovery time.
