But the reason why the idea took off so well was because it was simple and the products beautiful. Now I could add clichéd quotes about beauty here, but Silpada Designs need no such introduction. The over 450 unique designs available in their catalogue are all handcrafted in a variety of designs meant to appeal to women of all ages and tastes.

Silpada Designs work with .925 sterling silver products. For sale, they offer jewelry along with bracelets, earrings, belts, cuffs, necklaces and watches. The products come in various designs ranging from small and delicate to large and bold. All products can be used perfectly to express emotions and character. Or express your regard for someone then by giving them a perfectly crafted, unique piece by Silpada!

And that is not just it. The Silpada traditions of having representatives who help sell the jewelry have attracted many enthusiasts also. Through these offers, stay at home ladies can earn extra ‘grocery money’ by selling Silpada’s jewelry pieces.

The format for doing this is simple. Following Kelly and Walsh’s traditions, Silpada ladies may hold small, informal parties at home where they can sell products to friends. Nor is holding parties the only way to do so! Representatives may go out and sell the jewelry pieces door-to-door, over the phone or in any other way that appeals to them.

To become a Silpada representative is not very difficult either, although some may find the initial cost slightly high. A $199 initial fee must be paid to get an Initial Certification after which, one will be considered a representative. The fee varies however, if you also buy jewelry pieces worth a certain value at the time of obtaining a certificate.

Buying jewelry worth $1,500 ($750 only for representatives) can get the certification fee slashed by almost half to $100 only. Similarly, if a prospective representative decides to buy jewelry worth $3500, which comes down to $1750 only for a Silpada representative, they will get their Initial Certification totally devoid of any costs whatsoever.

Representatives are expected to buy jewelry pieces which they later sell for a commission of nearly 30% the value of that particular jewelry piece. The jewelry is available at a 50% discounted price for all representatives. This said, any jewelry bought at the time of the certification may be sold later and a commission earned on the sale.

Representatives may also earn a commission of 4% on the sales of their first enlistee also. There are ranks also for representatives. And as a representative, when your sales and commission grows, so too does your ranking as a Silpada representative. Once you reach the Star Director level for instance, you would be in a position to get at least 16% of all comprehensive sales.

But there are other organizations which have similar network marketing techniques. And they offer commissions on the sale of every one of their products also. What then, makes Silpada Designs representatives so happy and their marketing technique so successful?

The fact is that at Silpada Designs, human resource, in the form of our representatives, is respected and cherished just as much as any of our uniquely designed jewelry. Added to the obvious bonus that representatives can set their timings to suit themselves when selling jewelry, there are no restrictions on Silpada’s representatives regarding how they wish to sell the jewelry. They may sell it at informal parties, at their workplaces, via phone or even the Internet.

Furthermore, the best part is that Silpada offers a lot of incentives to sell the maximum amount of products possible. There are no fixed quotas on the worth of the products that any one representative sells to earn good profits or get money. Sipada Design’s ladies may earn their commissions instantaneously. As soon as they sell a piece, they may take their commission from the sale price itself forwarding the remainder money to the organization. The strategy has worked on both customers and representatives and ensured Silpada Design’s amazing success as a seller of sterling silver products.
