This is part 2 of my series, Fascinating Information - 50 Things You Are Not Suppose to Know; original work by: Russ Kick. I found the work very appealing and I thought it would be a convenient topic to write about and share. The book is full of fascinating facts and random data. 6. The US Government Lies about the Number of Terrorism Convictions it Obtains. Categorizing more convictions as 'terrorism' means additional money for the Justice Department. The story was first brought up by the Philadelphia Inquirer where they reviewed these so called 'terrorism convictions' during a 5 year term that ended on September 30, 2001. The General Accounting Office came up on ludicrous mis-classifications. They did a different analysis from September 30 2001 to September 30 2002 and found about 42% of the terrorist convictions had nothing to do with terrorism. This makes you think about all of the so called terrorism we hear on mainstream news. This makes me think about all of the military in the neighborhoods that claim to protect us from terrorism. These captivating facts never seize to surprise me. 7. The US is planning to Provoke Terrorist Attacks. There are unclassified data that talk about an one hundred million-dollar team that go by the name P2OG aka Proactive Pre-emptive Operations Group; its only mission is to provoke terrorist attacks. The unclassified article doesn't tell exactly how they plan to do this. Think back to when fatal viruses spread so fast, or when we go into a state of emergency. Is this really caused by a terrorist attack, or is it a tiny piece to a much larger plan? This and much more impressive info are enclosed in the book. 8. The US and the Soviet Union Considered Detonating Nuclear Bombs on the Moon. In 1958 the Air Force Special Weapons Center carried out a plan called A119, "A Study of Lunar Research Flights". The blueprint behind this was basically to show off to the Soviet Union, and everybody else. The project leader, Leonard Reiffel, was asked about the project and replied, "After the final report in early to mid-1959, it simply went away, as things sometimes do in the world of classified activities." Being aware of this, I wonder if by now the moon has ever been nuked. If nearly all of these fascinating stories were true, I wouldn't be surprised. 9. Two Atomic Bombs Were Dropped on North Carolina. At about half past midnight on January 24, 1961, a B-52 with two nukes attached was soaring near Goldsboro and Faro when it exploded and begun leaking fuel from the right wing. There were five survivors and three deaths. Both of the MARK 39 thermonuclear bombs disengaged from the B-52. One of the nukes had its parachute open up, but the other failed. The second parachute failed, causing it to slam down in a farmer's swampy land. Everything was recovered except for the second nuke's most vital part, which is made up of nuclear material. These interesting info are far more than captivating, some will leave you speechless, some will make you think twice about the corresponding subject, and others might just be what you need to hear for whatever reason. For complete details and all the material, pick up 50 Things You Are Not Suppose To Know. It is loaded of amusing material like the ones we went over here today. Interested facts to be continued. . . . These interesting facts are a part of a broader and precise book as noted above.
