How Sig Sauer Mosquito is different from 1911 Traditional models

Sales,Online Shopping,Business
Sig Sauer's early model the 1911 is better known as the Sig Sauer 1911 Traditional. While Sig Sauer Mosquito is the recent and modern firearm range that is ruling the pistol market. Both the traditional 1911 and Sig Sauer Mosquito models are among the acclaimed pistols for military warfare and small scale hunting. They are weather resistant and especially the Traditional 1911 Sig Sauer pistols feature the legendary techniques and making that makes Sig Sauer a global name. Sig Sauer 1911 Traditional and Sig Mosquito have some important differences.

Sig Mosquito is a semi-automatic pistol that is blowback operated and chambered to fire the .22 LR cartridge. The design of this series resembles that of P226, another popular series of Sig Sauer pistols. But still, the Mosquito models are smaller in size. Being a modern firearm, every initiative is taken to make them user friendly. The polymer frame of the weapon make them absolutely hardy and weather resistant. Even in rugged terrain, the pistols remain scratch-free. Also for the advantage of the users, the controls and operation are just like full-sized pistols. There is a decocking lever, safety lock, hammer fall and 10 round of magazine calibre. They are also available in a variety of models and most importantly colors. The accessory rail on all the models allow easy mounting of sight devices.

The special editions of Mosquito model are green, pink and even crimson in color. The two-tone frames are both black and stainless steel colored. The Mosquito Sport is known for its 4.9 inch barrel and high accuracy. Standard Mosquito has a polymer frame, adjustable rear and Double action/single action trigger mechanism. Mosquito with threaded barrel is wear resistant in every way. There is facility for a threaded barrel adapter with 28 thread pattern. Safety features for the users are decocking lever, auto drop and lock of barrel and slide and magazine safety.

Compared to the Sig Sauer Mosquito, the 1911 Traditional models are chambered to fire both the .22LR, .40 S&W and the 9 mm cartridges and they have also offered a platform for development of newer models. There are five models in 1911 Traditional that includes – Reverse Two-Tone, Compact Stainless, Traditional Match Elite Stainless and Two-Tone Match Elite and the Tacops. Great tolerance and close combat are two benefits of these models that make them hunter friendly. The Compact Stainless model has custom grips, better controls and be used with night sights. The Tacops is a more revised version with nitron finish, grip safety and match-grade barrel. While these model have mostly concentrated on accuracy and durability, the user comfort has been taken care of in Sig Sauer Mosquito versions.
