One of the best modern day examples of a correct waggle is the one that Jason Dufner does during his pre-shot routine. I am very pleased to see someone waggling the golf club in this manner. Jason's waggle resembles the waggle of Ben Hogan and for anyone serious about learning the golf swing, I strongly advise that you study how Jason waggles the golf club. I would also encourage you to watch Ben Hogan's waggle by searching the internet for video clips of his waggle. There are some significant similarities in their waggles. Ben Hogan describes the waggle on pages 65 - 69 of his book, Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf and I devote a whole chapter to the waggle in my book, The Golf Swing: It's all in the Hands. I think you will find that chapter three of my book gives a very detailed explanation on how to waggle a golf club and that you will find that it is very similar to Ben Hogan's and Jason Dufner's waggle. If you choose Ben Hogan's book as a reference, pay particular attention to the sketches on page 67 and to the one on page 68. The sketch on page 68 clearly resembles the waggle of Jason Dufner's.
