When making judgment, you can open the wiring harness connector on the electrical equipment and both ends of control switch, detect the circuit short-circuit part with the multi-meter or test light.
Wire open fault, in addition to obvious fracture phenomena, common faults occur between the wire and wire terminals. Some wire has open circuit, the outer insulation and lead wires are intact, but the internal wire and the wire conductor terminal open circuit. You may carry out tensile testing for the suspected conductive circuit lines and the wire terminal, if the wire insulation tapering becomes smaller and smaller in the tensile testing process, then it can be sure that the wire harness from automotive wire harness manufacturer has open circuit.
If the circuit connection is bad, then the fault occurred in the connector. When a fault occurs, it will cause the electrical equipment not be able to work properly. When making the judgment, turn on the electrical equipment power supply, touch or pull the relevant connector of the electrical equipment, if the electrical equipment works normal or not normal indicating when you touch the connector, it means the connector is faulty.

After the wiring harness has been replaced, first check whether the wiring harness connector and the connection of electrical equipment are correct, whether the battery positive and negative electrode is connected correctly.
Power test
The grounding line of the battery may temporarily not be connected with use a 12V 20W bulb as the test light, cascading the test lamp between the negative battery post and the frame grounding side and turn off all electrical equipment switch. The test light does not shine if it is normal, or it shows that the circuit is faulty. When the circuit is normal, remove the bulb, cascade a capacity of 30A fuse between the negative battery post and the frame grounding side, do not start the engine, connect the vehicle electrical equipment power supply one by one, check the electrical equipment and the circuit, remove the fuse and connect the battery ground connection line after making sure that electrical equipment and circuit have no faults.
