Koyo’s Angular Contact Bearings are available in a variety of types to suit the demands of our customers such as Deep Groove Ball Bearings. In recent months our customers have reported concerns about lubrication in bearings with inner ring guided cages for certain vertical motor applications. To address these customer concerns, Koyo is introducing “Ball Guided” Angular Contact Bearings Stainless Steel Bearings , which are pictured at the right. The improved cage design as depicted in the cross section at the near left, allows the lubricant an easier pathway to the rolling contact area through the gap between the cage and inner ring. The new cage still uses our bronze material that allows for quiet running while having porous properties that are beneficial in marginal lubrication applications which would compare to Full Ceramic Bearings in the future. With the new Koyo ACBB cage design you can expect quiet and smooth bearing operation, while meeting customer noise and vibration requirements.
