Ministry of Sound Red Sea Party at Hurghada’s Papas Beach Club to Ministry of Sound beats every night from 10.30 till sunrise. There are numerous special events each season with DJs flying in from around the world every week. The great news for the ladies is that entrance is free if you arrive before 11:30, unless there’s a special event. Mondays are ladies night- meaning free entrance all night and 2 free drinks. The party is right on the beach, so bring your swim suit and head to the water at sun up to cool off after a night of dancing. The “Alf Layla w Layla” or “1001 Night” show is an event you just can’t miss on your vacation in Hurghada, on the Red Sea. The show is held daily at the open-air theatre of the Fantasia 4-star hotel in Hurghada. This exotic and very oriental spectacle depicts scenes from the Pharaonic era, ancient cults and the legend of Scheherazade. The performance includes sound & light effects, traditional Nubian music played on drums, horse riders and belly dancers. The show is preceded by a Traditional Egyptian dinner. If you’re not staying at the Fantasia hotel, you can book your seat through your hotel or any local tour operator. They will provide the transportation to and from the theater. During your stay in Hurghada you can enjoy Hurghada Tours by doing the following activities:- Diving in the Carless Reef, The Careless Reef is justifiably one of the more popular dive sites in Hurghada, with its many coral forests and a dense population of fish, including the occasional hammerhead shark, jacks, tuna and barracuda. The reef is however famous for the large population of giant and other morays flourishing in its premises, thanks to all the gifts of food they get from the dive guides. The reef itself consists of two coral towers brushing the water surface. The valley between these peaks is about 16m deep, and offers a wide range of dive possibilities for less experienced divers. A few meters east and well beyond 40m, experienced divers can find many caves to explore. Visit Gebel Abu Dukhan The single porphyry quarry that provided the whole Roman Empire with the basic material to build imperial monuments and architectural features, such as the Hagia Sophia, the Great Palace of Constantinople, columns in Rome, and the revetment of the Pantheon in Greece is actually located in Egypt, a mere 65 kilometres distance north of the current city of Hurghada, in a mountain known today as Gebel Abu-Dukhan. It is almost hard to believe that for ages, the quarry was “lost.” Even the French Expedition led by Napoleon couldn’t find it. Finally, in 1823, under the reign of Muhammad Ali, the remains of the quarry were discovered by Sir John Gardner Wilkinson, the British pioneer Egyptologist, and James Burton, a British explorer and hieroglyph expert. Today you can visit the remains of the quarry on a 4X4 day-trip arranged through a local travel agent or your hotel.Hurghada Tours
