Dental problems have now emerged as one of the most common health issues nowadays. There can be different types of dental problems associated with the lifestyle and what we consume. With dental problems, even gum diseases are becoming common. Gum diseases mainly include gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is when the gums are inflammated without any bone loss or gum recession. The gums become very sensitive with swollen, tender and red gums that will bleed easily. It can also be responsible for bad breath in a few cases. The treatment for the gingivitis includes using good toothpaste and the best mouthwash for gingivitis. Antibacterial Mouthwash can be divided into two categories. The first category of mouthwash includes using agents like chloride, peroxides, essential oils, cetylpyridinium and sanguinarine. These are available in the counter as the popular antibacterial mouthwashes for a long time. The retention ability of these agents in the mouth is good and is able to act on the bacteria for an extended period of time. Frequent use of these mouthwashes is good. The next category should be used only with prescription. The agents include chlorhexidine and stannous fluoride. Even these have the same retention capabilities and antibacterial properties. Natural Mouthwash can also be a good option. These are prepared from natural ingredients. They help in removal and killing of bacteria in the mouth. Instead of subjecting our gum, teeth and the entire mouth lining to harsh chemicals, natural mouthwash is a good alternative. These contain natural ingredients that can kill bacteria and fight bad breath. This mouthwash do not contain alcohol therefore fights bad breath. The ability of the mouth lining to absorb substances is high. Even though we spit the mouthwash after rinsing the mouth, it is important to use mouthwash with proper ingredients to keep the mouth and dental health good.
