These sounds can come from people breathing, eating, coughing, sneezing, etc. While most people become mildly annoyed by sound that is being repeated excessively, those who suffer from misophonia will probably try to leave the place and even become violent. As it turns out, the hatred towards the source of the sound is even more severe when it is coming from a loved one or any other emotionally connected to the misophoniac. They obsess with numbers, order of things, religious dilemmas, superstitions and even cleanliness. There was a case reported a few years ago of a person cleaning his bathroom with 7 different commercial detergents. The fumes coming from the cleaners mixed and exploded, effectively destroying the whole bathroom. Others wash their hands excessively to the point of ruining their skin. Some order professional cleaning services for their homes excessively from companies such as cleaners in Barnes . Those who are afraid of filth should play football in the mud or something like that and see that nothing will happen to them.
