On a scale of 1 to 10, if you’d have to rate the emotional aspect in a logo design, than the ranking would be somewhere around 7 or 8. On the other hand, if you rate the rationality aspect, it would rank somewhere around 5 or 6. Now, the question is why the difference when a logo is created keeping in mind all the technical aspects of the design; the justified reason would be that logos are supposed to connect with the people and only the emotional aspect of a logo is able to create that connection. Among all the categories of the logo design, animal logo designs are the ones that contain the emotional aspect in a huge quantity. A dog is a man’s best friend; this phrase is heard quite often. People tend to develop emotional attachment with animals; they start considering them a part of their family and anything associated with animals whether it is their food or play time, is given considerate care. Likewise, designs associated with animals should also connect with the customers more on an emotional level; making your brand work on the emotional scale is like scoring innumerous goals in the play field that your competitor would never be able to compete with. Animal logo designs have one of the most fortune advantages available at their end i.e. the freedom to choose different kind of images without having the fear of customer rejection. Animal designs are most commonly used in the pets and veterinary shops logos, firms that manufacture specific food for each animal whether it is a cat or a dog, firms that provide customized clothing for animals as well, and much more. There were times when you simply used to buy pets and that’s it; you took care of them, gave them in – house food and a happy relationship was built. Fortunately, different firms have been prevailing in the market now that make you treat your pet just as a child; from clothes to accessories, everything is available now. Comparing the scale of rationality with emotional appeal, even if it is not for animal logo designs, most of the firms try to play on the emotional aspect as it’s more appealing and customers are more fond of something that appeals their hearts rather than something that is all about money. To create the emotional aspect in an animal logo design, you’d need to add images that are adorable and cute and foremostly, liked by most of the customers out there. About the fonts being used in an animal logo, they should be somewhat bubbly and wavy meanwhile keeping in mind that the logo should look sophisticated; therefore, too many images and font changes are not supported in any case. A logo is meant to represent your firm in a nutshell; even if you’re using animal images, don’t forget the aspect of modernity and sophistication.
