RC helicopters have gained lot of popularity over a short period of time. Not just kids but adults are also equally crazy about this hi-tech miniature version of a helicopter. You can find various types and models of remote controlled helicopters in the toy shops and websites dealing in these kinds of toys. Depending on the type of build and power usage are two types of helicopters basically: Electric remote control helicopters: electric RC helicopters are small in size and they run on lithium polymer batteries. These helicopters are perfect for kids and those who do not have enough knowledge on how to fly an RC helicopter. You can fly electric RC helicopters inside the house as well as they do not make loud noise. If you want to increase life of these helicopters then need to take few steps: • Lithium polymer batteries although give you long flying hours but you can improve the performance by charging it only after it is fully discharged. • If the helicopter is not flying for long hours then there might be a connection problem. Remove the batteries from the socket and clean the battery and battery points with clean and dry soft cotton cloth. Dirt or soil at the battery points can affect the battery connection reducing the performance. • Before storing the helicopter, remove the battery and let the radio control helicopter cool down. Dissemble all the parts, clean them properly and store them in an air tight container. • To increase the speed of the helicopter takes help from a professional to get rid of the redundant parts. If the helicopter is light then it will use less battery and fly for long hours. Gas remote control helicopter: this one is meant for professionals who are pro at flying RC helicopter. The helicopter runs on gas operated engine so it needs a little extra care and attention. You can improve its performance by tuning the engine properly and reducing the unwanted weight from it. The helicopter engine is a proper gas engine so it requires regular servicing and tuning which can be done by a professional if you do not know about the engine or its mechanics. You must regularly oil the parts of the helicopter to increase the mobility. Before storing away the RC helicopter, dissemble all the parts and clean them to remove any dirt or grease. Keep it away from moisture or heat. If you want to buy a good quality RC helicopter then visit airsoftrc.com. Check it out for more information about Rc Electric Helicopter and RC helicopter
