The arrival of spring means getting-together for festive celebrations. It’s the time to start planning your Easter brunch with family and friends. Here are a few tips and tricks to create striking table centerpieces and bring in the beauty of spring to your Easter home decor. A lovely idea for the Easter table is to create a classic carrot-patch centerpiece. This simple, organic idea calls for a tall clear glass vase with a wide mouth. Cut the tops off of a few slender carrots and tie them together with some string. Carefully lower this bunch into your vase and insert long-stemmed daises in between the carrots. Embellish the vase with an organza ribbon bow tied around it. Place this arrangement on a green gingham table mat. You can also use a canning jar instead of a vase for a country effect. If you’d like a fun, vibrant centerpiece for your Easter table, consider making an arrangement that is sure to express the arrival of spring. Choose a tall, wide clear vase or container. Use multicolored jellybeans and build a thick layer at the bottom. On top of the jellybeans and along the sides of the vase, line bright pink and yellow marshmallows shaped like chicks or bunnies. You can build one layer of pink and one layer of yellow or alternate between the two colors. Use some sheer pink lace to tie a bow around the vase between the layers of jellybeans and the marshmallow candies to visually separate the different textures. Top this with the bright blooms of the season like pink tulips, yellow daffodils, pink petunias and buttery yellow daisies. For your Easter home decor, choose a mini papier-mâché birdhouse and cover it in pastel-colored glitter. Add embellishments like silk butterflies or faux feathered birds to the roof of the birdhouse. Place this on a cake stand and cover with a glass cloche. You can add lace trim to the cloche and tie a ribbon bow to the dome handle on top. This can also be a striking centerpiece for your Easter table. Use these easy ideas and bring the freshness of spring to your Easter home decor.
