I’ve created this website for the purpose of finding out how many people require Xanax on a daily basis to help them lead a productive life. Whatever the reasons may be the point is if Xanax is a pill that helps you cope with a form of anxiety, chronic or temporary physical afflictions that begin to negatively affect your state of mind causing you to feel completely at a loss, and you find that Xanax has the properties that either alleviate or lessen the discomfort and as a result give you a chance to maintain a productive lifestyle, than this is the right medication for you. Despite of all doctors having a prejudiced attitude towards Xanax and their narrow minded views on this topic it doesn't change the reality of this medication benefiting many people, that otherwise would not be able to function to the best of their abilities. It is wrong for anybody to dictate to you what pill you should or shouldn't take. We as individuals have a much better sense of awareness of what our body requirements are and what allows us to feel better and what doesn't, therefore it should be up to an individual to decide what medication is most suitable for their circumstance. The progress in medical science is far from being advanced enough for people in medical profession to take such a strong stand in areas that they know practically nothing about. For example Neuropathic pain is still an area where doctors have not yet made any progress and from my own experience I don't think that they even take it seriously enough, which in itself causes people who suffer from it become very distressed. I personally suffer from neuropathic pain and it is an extremely uncomfortable condition and if you find something that eases that discomfort, you will fight for it. I found that so far Xanax is the only medication that helps me with neuropathic pain and anxiety making me feel stronger, allowing me to pursue my ambitions and experience life in a positive way. I am sure that I am not the only person that would share this opinion. That is why I believe doctors should pay closer attention to the patient’s words, because the expertise that they think they have may not always be compatible with the patients symptoms and the mainstream medication prescribed may be completely useless, not to mention causing adverse sideffects. To deny medication to a patient whose quality of life may substantially depend on it is a criminal offence. This brings me to the pivotal point of this article which is the publicity associated with Xanax, portraying it in a most negative light, misconception that is indicative of pure ignorance. All the research that has been done to discredit Xanax must not be factually accurate, if it was I would not be actively advocating for it. My personal understanding of Xanax is that it does not pose any more risk than any other pill; in fact it is far less dangerous than most pain medications, antidepressants as well as other groups of medications. People must always exercise a degree of caution when taking any medication especially if they are taking it for the first time. All medications should be taken with caution, even herbal medicine which is freely available in pharmacies. I propose that Xanax should be made available as a non-prescription medication which should be readily available for customers to purchase over the counter. My stance on it is to sell it at a lowest dosage just as a precaution. Population that requires Xanax shouldn’t have to suffer because of some myths that this medication is somehow vicious. I think it is dispeakable to allow people who are in a lot of distress not to have an easy access to this medication. Not everybody can make weekly appointments to see doctors to get the script for the medication, and if it is an ongoing problem it is not practical to keep going to the doctors and constantly asking for scripts, especially when Xanax is not yet recognised as an agent that helps with neuropathic pain. It is a constant battle to convince doctors that this is what helps you. The last thing a person who is in pain needs is doctor’s reluctance to accept the truth. Ignorance is the biggest adversary of progress in medical science. Therefore I ask people who agree with my proposition to please show support by saying yes to Xanax being sold over the counter in chemists without the need for a prescription.
