There is a lot of interest in using in Sumagrow on sugar cane, both domestically in the USA and in several foreign countries. While the results mentioned are not yet final, the pictures show the dramatic difference Sumagrow makes. Here's from a July 2012 email: These are new pictures [pictures dated 7.2012] from our sugarcane field trial in Cam Ranh, Vietnam. The plants are 3-month-old regrowth after harvesting. One field is fed SumaGrow only while the other field is fed NPK only. The NPK field uses 650 kg of NPK and 3 MT of phosphate fertilizer per hectare, with total fertilizer costs of $1,000 [which is approximately $400/acre, significantly more than our price], not counting labor costs. One interesting fact I learned today: the SumaGrow field is on such poor soil that historically could not support regrowth after a harvest. The grower had to replant each season. This year, he decided to apply SumaGrow instead of replanting and was very surprised at how well the regrowth turned out. Attached are the updated pictures [dated 14.12.12] from our sugarcane trial. The SumaGrowned canes are now at least 50% taller than the NPKed canes and with healthier leaves despite being 2 weeks younger, on higher ground and in poorer soil. We are still about 2 months from harvesting. The fellow in the picture is the same person as in previous pictures. He works in the technical group at the sugar mill and is responsible for 500 hectares of sugarcanes that supply the mill. The total area supplying the mill is 15,000 hectares. Wayne Wade and Dr. Lalitha (of Biosoil) recently visited a number of the field trials in India, including sugar cane. Again, just like the Vietnam trial mentioned above, the vast majority of the sugar cane trials used strictly a SumaGrow product (no fertilizer) compared to a conventional fertilizer treatment.
