Easy Environment friendly Upholstery Cleaning Tips

Home Improvement
Whenever you buy a couch or upholstery, you try to avoid the use of stain guard because you know the fact that the chemical used to remove stains from couch involves poisonous element that harms the ozone layer of the universe. Now the biggest problem is what to do to clean the sofa and upholstery and also should consider your family.

So here are described some easy and eco friendly techniques that you use to keep your couch dust free, clean and remove stains in nontoxic and safe methods.

Whipped Detergent: -

Most of the people prefer to use foamy aspect formula and really it is a good and prior choice. The cleaning agent is dispersed around the entire sofa by the whipped detergent and by this not a single part of the sofa gets too thick and much wiped. Generally people like to dip brush into detergent water, rub the whole couch and then rinse using the dry brush in this formula. It needs an equal amount of detergent in liquid form and water and do not use the laundry detergents on upholstery. Mix it with a hand mixer till it is mixed properly, scoop the froth onto the brush, rag or sponge and rub on the stain till it's gone and then rinse it. All stains will remove properly without any environmental hassles.

Water cleaner: -

Cool water for non soggy soil and note that heat sets most of the stains, but whenever you find any kind of greasy stains, than use hot or warm water.

Weekly vacuum and softly Brushing: -

Clean your couch or upholstery by soft brush to remove soil and other dust particles every week or 10 days. It is important to vacuum the cushions in 3 to 5 days to remove unnecessary stains from sofas.

Cleaning by using Shampoo: -

Shampoo is one of the good ideas to remove the stains and to clean the upholstery and sofas. Mix it with water hot or cool and then agitate. Dab it into a brush or sponge and then scrub on greasy stain till it is completely removed. You can also use the hydrogen peroxide by dabbing it on stain and repeat it until it is gone. Please do not rinse until whole process is done.

Here are some other environmentally friendly homemade experiments that you can use on the sofas and other furniture. To make the product mix half cups of biodegradable soap with one and half cups of warm hot water. Mix it until they are in viscous foam. Dab enough foam on sponge and scrub on the stains till it’s removed. Another one is a soft bristle brush that you use by mopping up the moisture with a dry cloth and then scrub on furniture. Club soda and hydrogen peroxide mixture is good to remove stain spots on the sofas.

These above upholstery cleaning tips help you but sometimes you experienced that some stain spots were not removed completely with these above kinds of homemade methods, so it may be the time to call the experts of upholstery cleaning service. You can also hire cleaning company that uses eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
