The topic is really hot and one cannot ignore the importance of the research and SWOT Analysis before we decide to buy a laptop. There are so many things that we need to keep in mind while choosing a product. If you talk about laptops Indian Electronics Market is full of Brands and pretty good ones. All of them are into advertising and marketing which is not a bad thing to do unless they mislead or manipulate information and consumers. First and most important thing is never ever blindly trust the advertisements. A quick SWOT analysis and a basic research would do great for you. The budget is something that would form the basis for your choice. Identify the Brand that comes in your Budget. Once you do that then check out the models in the category. If you have more than one option regarding Brands compare them. If you know someone who is already using the same or similar product it would be a great idea to take feedback. Then visit the store and take demos among your options. It would not be a bad idea to get your hands on latest technology based product and take a feel, this will enable you to get a good idea if the product will serve your requirements. Also consider the aspect of feasibility and carrying it with you as in the delicacy criteria. You do not want a beautiful looking piece of art getting damaged on a slight brush with a hard surface. I am in Indian and my job requires me to work with my laptop while I am traveling in a metro. I wanted to buy a strong and durable product so I chose Panasonic Toughbook. This laptop looks all muscle and works like a mean machine at a very good price. Now there are certain types of laptops specifically designed for specific purposes like Apple allows you to experience graphic designing at a great level. Sometimes the product is good but the feature like Battery consumption exceed the normal therefore be prepared for the scenario and choose wisely. The after sales service and warranty is another very important aspect to be kept in mind. You don’t want to run after the service providers and keep calling them ten times a day if anything goes wrong with your laptop. Some of the Brands also provide you with a feature to increase the warranty for a particular price. It is reasonable & better to secure the warranty because that will help you in long run. Always keep the bills and papers intact in a safe place because if you lose them you might have to pay for the services that you could have used for free until the given time period with your offer.
