If you think that The Expendables was outrageous and Expendables 2 was a blood bath, you are in for a ride with the next instalment of the most bad ass action movie franchise ever. Stallone has kick started The Expendables 3 and the cast is just getting better than ever. Barney Ross and Lee Christmas are in a recruitment spree. There are rumours about big names such as Nicolas Cage and Mel Gibson bring lured into the movie. It is as if Stallone is on a mission to create the movie that will make a mark in history and will never ever be overshadowed by any other movie. Not for a very long time. It is hard to believe but there are talks that action legends such as Steven Segal and Harrison Ford had been approached for the movie. Have they agreed to play a part or is it still in the pipeline, we have to wait for some time now to know more about that. The names we already saw might make our eyes widen in surprise, but there is something that will definitely make our jaws drop. The coolest and badest action icons of all time, Clint Eastwood has also been approached for the movie. Clint Eastwood has moved onto direction after a remarkable acting career but he can definitely do a guest role which will put a smile on all the faces of the fans all over the world. Mickey Rourke who played the character ‘Tool’ in the original movie is said to be back in the third instalment. Wesley Snipes is also being sought for a role. Stallone has said that the second movie was a natural progression but the third movie has got to be a completely different one and we are working on it. Stallone directed the initial movie but the sequel was directed by Simon west. It is said that the second sequel is going to be directed by Patrick Hughes. Patrick has not done many movies in the past but Stallone has a keen eye for talent and this could be a big breakthrough for him. We have seen movies that are a bang for the buck but this is going to be one absolute visual thermo nuclear detonation for the buck and could possibly be the best dollar spent on a movie.
