The first glimpse of the magnificent Everest is gotten the moment you step on the Lhotse-Nuptse Ridge.

Annapurna Trekking ensures organizing base camp trekking only when the climate is favorable so that the trekking can continue for many days till you reach the Khumbu region. En-route, you even get the opportunity to pay a visit to the Tengboche Monastery, a famous Buddhist Monastery sacred to the Sherpa community situated in Tengboche village which lies in the Khumbu region of Eastern Nepal. This monastery is located at an altitude of 12,687 feet high and was built in the year 1916.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking then leads towards Kala Patthar- rocky bedrock located in the Western part of Mount Everest. While ascending the Kala Patthar, you would get a beautiful view of the south west side of the Everest. Notable, this side was ascended by Chris Bonington and his team for the first time in 1975. The magnificent view of the Ice Fall and South Col can be viewed from here. Some climbers even go to the southeast ridge known as the Cornice traverse which is knife-edged snowy rocky area. At this point, a wrong step would send a climber to the left, down the southwest face and to the immediate right is the Kangshung face.

Annapurna Trekking plans the entire route so that the climbers do not get lost. The safest route is chosen to ensure safety, misstep or unfortunate fall from the mountain.
