Saltbox Roof This is another rare and unusual roof which is asymmetrical in design and looks out of the ordinary. It is composed of one short side and one long side. The rarity in this roof style is that on the short side it has one floor and on the long side there are two floors. Upside Down House This is a popular much photographed and shared sightseeing spot in a tiny Polish village known as Szymbark. An architect named Daniel Czapiewski has built an entire house to appear upside down. The roof is the entry to the house and resembles the foundation of the house and the actual roof is at the bottom of the house. Japanese Green Roof There is a modern glass and chrome building in Japan which houses offices, retail space, museum and theater. The roof of this building has about 30,000 plant varieties which makes it a green space in a predominantly urban area. It is a going green strategy which is environmentally enhancing.
