These electronic cranes scales usually used two kinds of display facilities. One of them is the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and the other one is the Light Emitting Diode (LED). The LCD display is best for outdoor use as the readings can be viewed easily even in direct sunlight. The LED on the other hand is commonly used indoors.
