But the education loan is charged an interest of about 11.5% to12%. This is in an affordable range. Another aspect of the education loan that works in favor of the students is that they do not have to start paying the loan amount. They are given a grace period of about six to twelve months after the completion of the course to find a job after completing the course. Only after the student has secured the job does he or she need to repay the loan amount that too in equated monthly installments fixed by the institute in the connivance of the loan seeker.
