What Colour Does Painter Perth Recommend To Enhance Productivity

Home Improvement,Home Repair
In reality, colours tell much about an individual’s personality. There are colours that deeply affect productivity and a combination of these can influence peoples’ behaviour. If you want your staff to be productive, use these colours to paint your office.

Studies show that red affects the body, blue the mind, yellow the emotions, and green the essential balance of mind, body and emotions. These colours are the so-called four psychological primaries.

It is interesting to note that combining more than one colour will give you both effects. For instance combining yellow and blue will give you a distinct colour that stimulates both your emotions (yellow) and your mind (blue).

World famous colour psychologist Angela Wright was able to develop a scientifically-tested theory of colour called the ‘Colour Affects System’. Her work has proven that a person’s personality affects how she interprets colour and that colour influences every single person universally.

The Wright Colour Theory is based on the following principles:

1. There are four colour families, within which every colour harmonises with every other colour in the family. Colours from different families do not truly harmonise;

2. There are also four basic personality types;

3. Each personality type has a natural affinity with one colour family; and

4. Each colour family expresses a personality type.

Based on this, Perth painter can help you make the right choice of colours for your office, the ones that has a direct impact on the productivity of your team. However, research show that it is not really the colour itself that affects your behaviour but rather the intensity that affects your response to the colour.

To demonstrate, a strong bright colour causes excitement and therefore stimulates. While a low saturation colour brings about serenity, therefore it is soothing. You can clearly see that it is not the colour itself that defines whether it is stimulating or soothing but rather how intense it is.

What are the colours that you can possible paint your office to get the most productivity? Generally, blue is considered the most productive colour of all, but this is especially true if you do mind-work throughout the day, like an accountant. What if you are not an accountant? Wright suggests spicing up your room with a bit of orange to include emotion into your mind-stimulating room to achieve a balance.

Yellow is best for artists because it stimulates their ego and spirits. More so, it will bring out their creativity. This colour also makes you think and look positive. A room painted with yellow is best for designers.

Red can make you more productive if you are doing something physical like carpentry work. This colour is for physical strength and stimulus.

If you value a strong sense of balance then green might just be the colour that will make you more productive. The colour green is said to be so balanced, calming and reassuring it is perfect to use where money is involved. As you might notice, green is the colour of money.

So, how do you choose the right shade for your office? It is advised that you narrow down which main colour suits your situation, whether it is the mind, emotions, body or balance that you want to affect most. Then choose a particular hue of that colour. Painter Perth reminds you that if you want your environment to be stimulating, choose a highly saturated hue and for a soothing feel, choose low saturated hue.
