India being a large country with a huge population and area wise has many things to talk about. India being a peninsula looks different from the top and the weather includes many variations. Indian history is as old as its origin and it was evolved as the most traditional country around the world. It is as old as Homo sapiens and India evolved around 5 million years ago. This makes the Indian culture diverse and great dynasties of Gupta, Chola, Chalukyas, Satavahanas and Pandya kings made India wealthy with the gold that they have in the kingdom. India is famous for epics and can be called as the land of epics. Ramayana and Mahabharata are the world’s greatest epics evolved in India. The economical guidance given by Kautilya is worth reading for the genius economists of today even. The kings and the kingdoms contributed many things to make India great. Classification of the period in the history Indian history is classified in five different periods like Indus Valley Civilization which is also called as Pre-classical period, Vedic period, classical period, the Hindu-Islamic civilization and Modern Periods. Each period has its impact and importance and offered great things to the Indian history. Before 300 years ago, there was British rule which collapsed Indian beauty to a great extent and thereby India became poor when compared to the ancient India. The British ruled India over 200 years and transported many beautiful things to their country. The rule of British people though made some changes in Indian civilization; most of the wealth is taken away without Indians notice. The age of stone and the age of bronze made their mark and bough some difference in Indian history imparting its best sculpture and artistic views into the civilization. Many foreign rules tied occupy India as they are attracted towards its beauty and wealth. Independent India At last, India had become independent in the year 1947. That was the golden year in the history of India and everything turned great after that. Our own rules, our own leaders, and our own Constitution are put up and the Indians are free from foreign rule. Many people in the way to freedom fight lost their lives and are still living in the midst of us. Medieval Period also has its own importance. The early modern period consists of many constructions, with which India had made its mark in the world with different and unique constructions such as Taj Mahal, Kutub Minar, and many more. Unity in Diversity The history of India is incomplete if you do not remember this line. India being a large country with a vast population is diverse in its own way having different languages, eating habits, different states based on their languages and different religions and castes and though the Indians are all different in every way, there is a single thing that unites is the feeling of belongingness of one nation, the Incredible India.
