Do you aspire to get into the best business school? Do you aspire to get the prestigious Symbiosis MBA tag? Have you applied to SNAP and are wondering what is the future all like? Are you wanting to pursue the MBA In IT specialization in top ranked B schools like SCIT ( Symbiosis Center for Information & Technology) but don’t know how to get started? Well, the answers to these mystical questions lie entirely in your preparation. Yes! Nothing beyond that will be able to resolve your queries. But, most of us tend to ignore the preparation part just because we are more focused on applications. Don’t get me wrong, applications are an integral part of the admissions to MBA process. But, you need to focus on preparing for the admission rounds as well. You many have applied for tens of colleges under SNAP 2013 but are you ready for their interviews as well? Here is a snapshot of what you need to do when you are gearing up for the admissions to MBA or pursuing the business management degree programs: Know what you want to do? This comes much before you advance to the searching phase of PGDM colleges in Pune. You need to be clear and confident about your choice and reasons why you chose it? If it is the Symbiosis MBA in IT, what drove you to make the choice? If you know the answers to these questions, it becomes easier for you to face the interviewer and justify your choice. Future plans This is something every business management degree admission round will have-discussions on your future plans. But, give realistic plans like what you plan to do in the next 2-3 years. Given the current market scenario, it really becomes impossible to be able to predict beyond that. Dress comfortably and talk confidently! These are two golden rules when you are preparing for admissions to MBA. Wear something that is formal, suits the occasion and keeps you comfortable. This will help you talk confidently and keep your body language equally positive. The MBA interviews are not times to try your new clothes, unfriendly combinations, all night parties or outside food. No one wants to ruin their big day, do they? Check what you carry Don’t forget to cross check your documents even if it’s the smallest thing. Usually, you should keep it ready a day in advance and cross check it before you sleep. Ideally, the interview panel will be scrutinizing your application from head to toe and it is best advised not to miss out on the paper work. Don’t fake it if you want to make it? If you really want to make it to the business management degree at top notch IT B schools like SCIT, the trick is to be knowledgeable, upfront and truthful. Even if you don’t know the answer, accept it. Don’t try fooling the examiner. It could ruin your chances for good. http://www.scit.edu
