Data and Records Management refers to storing, manipulating, fetching and transmitting data and information. Traditionally data and information was stored in papers and arranged in files and folders. A Software may be designed and developed to do the job of a DBA, instead of sending requests to DBA, users can select from a list of available options of the tasks the software can do. The list of jobs done by the software can be designed as per the requests of the user, proposed at the beginning of software development. And if custom software is developed, new tasks, roles and permissions can be added, modified and deleted as and when required. This software would then display the message confirming task completion or record set of data and information as requested by the user.
