Some may not know but the job of a teacher is very exciting and rewarding due to the fact that these amazing people have the capacity to change lives. They can influence your thoughts and behaviors and are considered as role models by their students. The job gives you an opportunity to connect with young minds and promote positivity in their lives. As a Teacher, you are the facilitator of learning and it is up to you on how you can motivate your students to learn. Being given a chance to play a very important role in someone’s life is just one of the many great benefits of the job. There are other great benefits that go together with this profession and these are the following: 1. Although it doesn’t guarantee millions in the bank, you will receive a solid paycheck with a salary equal to other professions. 2. The government values what teachers can do for a country therefore they will also receive health insurance, retirement savings, which are often denied to many especially given the labor market industry these days. 3. You will have your off together with the rest of the world who don’t work on weekends, summers and holidays and for some this is already a great package. 4. Your work schedule is purely during the day, so you won’t have to worry about night shifts and getting sick often because of staying up late at night. (Teaching College or post graduate students have a different schedule though.) 5. You are given an opportunity to share your passion to other people by making them see what you can do for the community. 6. Knowing that you are making a difference to other people is such a wonderful feeling. Just looking at the faces of your students and thinking of ways to help them and make them achieve all their goals for themselves. Being a Teacher will not only allow you to change other people’s lives but you have to be prepared to be changed as well. It is a noble profession and although we can’t prove our point that it is less stressful than the other known professions in the industry, it is still considered to be one of the most comforting and inspiring one. And although the salary of a teacher is not too high, more and more individuals still choose to become one. There are so many teaching jobs in the world. Teaching jobs in Canada have increased throughout the years that are why more and more professionals choose to pursue their careers there. The country boasts a beautiful scenery and high compensation for aspiring teachers making it a great destination to those looking for career advancement as teachers.
