I have a 9 handicap and have always played a senior mens club/shaft as a lot of low handicap women do. I loved my original Big Bertha and ran to test/buy the first day it was out. I hit the Callaway X2 Hot Driver 30 yards past my senior mens Big Bertha.
Something about the club was not right so I went to a Callaway demo day just this morning and had the Callaway rep test my club against others. I was right, there was a problem with the club and Callaway took it back. But...he asked me to humor him and hit the womens X Hot 2 before I ordered a replacement. Players with higher lofts can take advantage of higher draw bias for straighter shots, while players with lower lofts can utilize a more neutral CG that fits their game.
In the Callaway X Hot Driver, Callaway has implemented its thinnest casting technology ever in the all-titanium head to create a lighter swing weight and overall configuration, a combination that benefits most players in terms of head speed and distance, especially golfers with an average swing speed. Another benefit of the new, thin casting technology to the golfer is the inclusion of Draw Bias Progression, which changes the amount of draw bias depending on the loft, allowing golfers to better control sidespin and tune their shot shape.
Also featured in the X Hot Drivers is the adjustable OptiFit Hosel, which adjusts the face angle in Open, Square or Closed positions to improve accuracy and trajectory, and allows golfers to dial in their preferred look at address. As a notable value-add, the Callaway X Hot Drivers also feature Project X Velocity shafts as the stock offering.
When I read somewhere that I could square the face on the new X2 Hot by adjusting my grip then I experienced the beauty of this new club at golf clubs online shop. Straight and long shots with a great feel.
