Just like in section of the society in any given country, there must be a governing authority that formulates some laws that need to be followed to the later by individuals or organizations that work under it. More so, FDA is in charge of registering those individuals or organization who intend to venture in the field of producing foods and drugs. This registration is very important as it helps in dealing with unprofessional people who want to produce substandard foods for the pets. Finally, FDA checks foods often to see if the required standards are still maintained or not. If not, the food that have been tested are recalled from the market. This is a huge loss to the producer but it is worth for the sake of the lives. It also serves as an example to the producers who may be wishing to compromise the quality and the required standards. They try their level best to ensure they do not follow suit of their product being recalled. Types of cat foods recalled. Cats are special types of animals.
