The ten day rule, means, that you need have ten good days at your pursuit, or else. Two applications would be a job area and relationship areas, friendship or otherwise. First the job, which does involve often a needed paycheck, you want to have had at least an accumulated 10 good days over a reseaonable time span, even it that extends to a year. Some people can't recall even one good day in the course of a year doing a job. Some jobs of course are part time, say gigs, or for example acting gigs. See if within say those acting gigs, there have been ten good days, even if spaced apart, when deciding whether to pursue more acting. With a friendship, relationship, part time or full time, don't try and see if this person is someone to say marry. If that is the goal, you might head off just about everybody at the pass. Just look to see if there is, can be, might be, hopefully will be, the possibilty of having ten good days with this person. That goes for meeting with new friends as well. You should be able to hang out on ten separate occasions, out of say 20 or whatever that are good. For say a writer, looking to expand to say fiction, romance or science fiction for example, give it say 50 days, and make sure to see that ten of them were good. If not, maybe ramp down.
