It is a similar feeling to trying to lose weight, but not progressing as you want you. There is something standing in your way, but what? The good thing about learning about weight loss myths is that it helps you understand what you shouldn’t do. As you change things or stay away from the actions that inhibit your progress, you will be able to find weight loss success. When I finally decided to completely focus on my weight loss journey, I had to cut things I knew weren’t helping. I used to justify those behaviours, but when I decided to get serious, those old habits went out the window. It was then that I was able to achieve success even beyond my original hopes. A Look At Weight Loss Myths I have to exercise to lose weight. It has been shown that only 20% of successful pounds lost is due to exercise. The other 80% is from eating the right kinds of foods. I reached my goals without any exercise because I was nursing an injury. I have to diet to reach my goals. Diets can initially work to shed some pounds, but they are not realistic or safe to continue for a lifetime. Chances are, once you are off of the diet, you will gain the weight back. I drink enough water. Drinking several water bottles a day still isn’t enough. You need to double that to drink about 100 ounces everyday. If you’re not going to the bathroom every hour, you need to drink more. Diet beverages are okay. Beverages that are sweetened with sweeteners, still have no nutritional value at all. They stifle the work of your metabolism. They also are carbonated which contributes to a bloated belly. Figuring out what changes you need to make is a great start to reaching your goals. It means you are teachable and are willing to learn from your mistakes and move on. This attitude is perseverance and with that, you can accomplish anything. Want More On “Weight Loss Myths“?
