Robotic process automation is a definite game changer. The technology has the potential to significantly alter our way of life and work. Time delays are kept at a minimum, and if associated processes can be automated as well, the cost savings are significant. Robotic process automation now involves some very complicated programs that use algorithms to make decisions, simulating the trained mind of a professional. These programs also get better at this with time as they learn what inputs produce which responses. This is some extremely powerful technology, with the potential for consequences that involve the greater world economy at large. It is, in the true sense of the word, disruptive. Robotic Process Automation might very well kick off the next industrial revolution. With the potential to affect significant reduction in costs while at the same time boosting speed, performance and efficiency, there are no visible downsides to Robotic Process Automation being implemented across different processes for a more tightly integrated business workflow.
