How To Eat Healthy And Lose Weight Without Counting Calories

Is it easy to learn how to eat healthy and lose weight without counting calories? There are definite ways around being able to lose weight and not count calories.

You know the feeling when you are multitasking? It takes extreme concentration to focus on two or three things at once. It can invoke a frantic feeling to keep everything straight at once. This can be a similar feeling to worrying about counting calories while trying to eat right. It is hard enough to make good food choices without calculating those choices before you can eat them.

It’s best to learn how to eat healthy and lose weight without counting calories because you can focus on more important things that matter. Like the conversation you can have during the meal. Once you have an idea of what is best to eat, there is no need to worry about calories. Doesn’t that sound luxurious?

I was able to hit my goal weight and beyond by purely being choosy about what food I ate. I did not calculate one thing. I was able to focus on the type of food, preparation, and enjoying my meal.

How To Eat Healthy And Lose Weight Without Counting Calories

*Make a plan. Menu plan your meals and snacks at least a week in advance. I usually make my plan on the days I go to the grocery store. That way, I only buy what I is good for me to eat. Having a plan ensures that you are in control of your eating habits, not your emotions.

*Morning time. In the morning, just rotate between several healthy options. Fruit, smoothies, yogurt, or eggs are all good choices for breakfast and snacks. No need to count. Eat as much as you like.

*Lunch Ideas. Healthy leftover’s from the night before, soup, or salads are great food options.

*Snack Ideas. Nuts, veggies and hummus, boiled eggs, berries, prunes, pickled vegetables are healthy snacks.

*Dinner Ideas. Focus on lean proteins and veggies. Choose a whole grain for a small side.

*Stay Away. Avoid eating treats, breads, pastries, deep fried foods, and refined foods during the week. Save them for the weekend after a week of healthy eating.

*Water. Water has zero calories so drink as much as you like and more.

Stay focused during the week on healthy food choices. Then on the weekend you can choose two or three meals to eat that are your favorites as a reward.
