The technology detects the dimensions of the trailer and adjusts accordingly, sparing the driver the trouble of making manual changes. It remains at the chosen height until the trailer is removed and a new one is detected. This automatic functioning is a huge bonus, not just in terms of driver effort, but also because it removes the guesswork from the equation.
