There are many types of permanent visa that are found under the Australia law.Employer nomination scheme (subclass 186) visa is type of permanent residence visa meant for skilled workers and it involves two steps. First you must be nominated by the Australian employer and then make visa application under the stream which you have been nominated. Direct entry stream, labor agreement stream and temporary residence transition stream are the streams that are found in employer nomination scheme (subclass 186). The processing time varies depending on the streams nominated. You can be eligible for employer nomination scheme (subclass 186) visa if you have been nominated by the Australian employer and the nomination has been approved with 6 months before you make an application, if you have required skills and qualifications of the place you have been nominated, if you are 45 years and below, if you meet character and health requirements and if you meet the requirements listed on the stream you have applied. If you are older than 45 years, you can also apply for employer nomination scheme (subclass 186) visa and if you have English language skills. You must apply for the visa on the stream that you have been nominated by your employer of failure to that can lead to your visa been refused. The health results are valid for 12 months only and you are required to arrange for health examination before the visa application is being lodged. You are required to produce police certificate from the country you have lived for more than 12 months for 10 years after you turned 16 years and this applies to all the members who are listed in the visa application form. Employer nomination scheme (subclass 186) visa allows you to stay indefinitely in Australia, study and work, enroll in Medicare, you can apply for Australian citizenship and you can travel to and from Australia for 5 years from the time visa was granted to you.
