Trampoline Parks – Whether you have small children or not, everyone enjoys time at trampoline parks. Even if you have a family trampoline in the backyard, the many trampoline parks in the area offer hours of fun with foam battle stations, piles of foam to swim through, dodge ball courts, and yards and yards of bouncy pathways. Indoor Paintball or Nerf Wars – Another fun family activity that gets you out of the heat can be found at Nerf and paintball facilities, such as GatSplat. You can also DIY your Nerf battles with a little intentional planning. Gather your darts, define your boundaries and plan a game of capture the flag in your corner of the neighborhood. Evening Walks – If your family rarely has the time to eat together, take advantage of the long days to fit an evening family walk into your schedule. Whether you walk in silence or choose to chat, a 30-45 minute walk every day can do wonders for your overall health, at any age. Grab the dog, pull on some shoes and get outside. An evening stroll, three times a week, is the fastest, easiest way to add some ad hoc exercise to your life Hike in Nature – You may feel stuck in suburbia, but there are several local destinations if you long to get lost in the woods.
