Yesterday, I finished rewatching one of my favorite childhood animated shows, Avatar: The Last Airbender The show was heavily inspired by East Asian culture, specifically their arts, mythology, philosophy, religion, architecture, and music. After finishing the show, I have to give props to the writers for their fantastic world building skills. But in my opinion, they did an even better job of creating characters that are so lovable mainly because they showed every side of them. Their good side and bad side. Their sense of humor. Their quirks. Even their fears and insecurities. When you know that much about a character, they become much more relatable, more likable, or hated. Either way, that makes the viewer lean in and want to see more. And so you can use that to your advantage in your business as well through the power of email, of course. With that, you’re able to connect with your readers on a really personal level by injecting your emails with your personality. And that’ll make your readers want to engage with you more and eventually, buy from you. After all, people buy from people, not faceless companies.
