Irrefutably, education eases the way to success and when it comes to education in India, it is certainly known to provide meticulous environment to their students. One of the biggest challenges for parents is to select the right school for their kids. With so many options, parents are often found to be confused. Nowadays the most popular and major department is the CBSE and ICSE boards. They are distinguished and nationally recognised board in our country. But the question is, which is the best among the two? Well, this topic has been subjected to endless debates in the past, but the current article will help you find the difference between the CBSE affiliated schools and ICSE affiliated schools. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education): CBSE board is well-recognised by Indian Government. There are approximately up to 10000 CBSE affiliated schools in India. CBSE affiliated schools permit their students to prepare the entire syllabus from lower kindergarten (L.K.G.) to class 12th. It conducts India’s 2 wide board examinations: the All India Secondary School Examination for Class 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination for Class 12. The syllabus of CBSE board is quite short and it focuses more on the subjects like Maths and Science. Students, who desire to pass in medical and engineering exams with flying colours, should opt for CBSE affiliated schools. Moreover, the syllabus is frequently updated with relevant and latest materials. CBSE schools help their students to hone overall skills by making the concepts fun and enjoyable. With the online learning resources, the board have tried their best to make the education simpler and understandable. CBSE affiliated school play a vital role in preparing the students to flourish and progress in today’s highly competitive market. ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education): The ICSE affiliated board schools help their students to grow – physically and intellectually. This board gives equal importance to each field including cookery, fashion designing, agriculture, science, maths and other languages. Students who desire to improve their knowledge in overall subjects should opt for ICSE affiliated board schools. In short ICSE board is more liberal and gives a good choice of subjects. Management students can also go for ICSE affiliated schools because the subjects and methodology in this board are designed in that manner. If your child ever shows interest in traveling abroad to finish his higher studies then the certificates provided by the ICSE board will help then to enrol in any of the well-recognised university there. However, the ICSE affiliated schools do not approve the Hindi language. Since the syllabus of ICSE board is vast, it is essential that the students should work hard to gain good scores. CBSE and ICSE affiliated schools have certainly enhanced the entire learning system. Hopefully, this article will aid parents to make the right choice for their loving kid. After all a good education is one of those primary needs that is necessary to lead a successful life.
