24. Judge Orders TV Icon Cosby to Stand Trial for Sexual Assault

A Pennsylvania judge on Tuesday ordered American comedy icon Bill Cosby to stand trial on allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in his Philadelphia home in 2004. Judge Elizabeth McHugh ruled there was enough evidence to warrant a criminal trial for the 78-year-old comedian. She wished Cosby luck at the end of the three-hour hearing, and he thanked her before leaving the courtroom. No trial date was set.
