6. Changes in the Political Affiliation and Process in USA
January 19, 2017

The 1960s was an amazingly transformative time for political affiliation in the United States. The decade formed the nation and made it how it is today. It was a dynamic time for some reasons, including legislative issues, the life of MLK, the production of youngsters' toys, and the ascent of the hipsters. One of the best movers and shakers of legislative issues in the 1960s was Martin Luther King, Jr. He changed the lives of blacks for a long time to come. He once stated, "Confidence is venturing out, when you don't see the entire staircase." Martin Luther King Jr. went out on a limb such a w... (read more)

Twelve of them are white. Cosby's legal team raised the issue on the courthouse steps Tuesday after a hearing in his criminal sex...... (read more)

10. Hillary Dips to New Low, Labels Trump and Millions of Americans - Racists and Nazis
August 29, 2016

Here in the greater New Orleans area are people who would gladly give race exciters Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson a permanent invitation to live in the area. But in spite of multiple murders per day among blacks, including stray bullets claiming the lives of many innocent black children, they rarely visit our area to decry this dangerous state of affairs. That is a pattern among race baiters and those who pull the race card to win arguments, line their coffers with green, or keep the pot stirred for hidden and ulterior motives. With Hillary’s poll numbers slipping, she too has dissem... (read more)

12. Study: Higher Mortality Among Black Voters Skews Election Results
July 21, 2016

If African-Americans died at equal rates as whites, some key close elections that Republicans won would have gone to Democrats instead, researchers concluded. And these electoral results have implications for the policies that affect the disproportionate death rate in the first place, they added. Death rates for blacks have been 20 to 40 percent higher than whites for decades, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Heart disease and cancer are the leading killers. The biggest difference in mortality falls between the ages of 40 and 65 — years when voti... (read more)

17. The Seven Best Oolong Teas
March 24, 2016

Oolong teas are extremely popular teas in China and Taiwan, but have only recently hit the world markets. The ever-growing popularity of oolong can be owed to its fresh and crisp flavour, mellower than the harsh black tea but sharper than a green tea. The period of fermentation is what divides the different brews into their respective categories. White teas aren't fermented at all, greens very minimally, and blacks are fermented the longest. Oolongs are fermented anywhere from 12-70%, placing them between a green and a black on that scale. A Chinese type will probably be closer in ta... (read more)

Black and White people have been intermingling since the slave era. However, miscegenation laws forbidding sex and marriage between races were once on the books as early as the 1600s. Although predominantly this law addressed Black-White relations, it became applicable to all races as well. It was not until 1967 that miscegenation laws were declared unconstitutional and repealed. This law prohibited Blacks from inheriting property from Whites. As a result, interracial dating and marriage between Black and White couples are on the rise, especially with younger people and those in interracial ne... (read more)
