April 09, 2017
Even though we live in a technological era, banner ads are still useful when it comes to building brand recognition. As a matter of fact, they have been around as long as the consumer Internet has. Banner ads lift awareness and get your business noticed. Display advertising, whether simple or not, has many benefits over other marketing channels, like effective targeting and faster brand building. People trust them, placing as much confidence in banner ads as much as they do in TV ads. If you are participating at an event to promote your products or services, contemplate the idea of purchasing... (read more)

4. How To Make A Trade Show That Attracts Clients
March 28, 2016
LAST UPDATED ON: December 6, 2018
Let us assume that you are way too organized that you are able to spare enough time, perhaps a month or so, before a trade show exhibit. With this, you have the luxury to create graphic designs and decide on the kind of displays you want to put up. Any printing company would ask you things when you want them to create trade show displays for you. In most cases, you would be required to submit a map of the trade show center as well as the location of your booth. This is important to distinguish where people would mostly pass by, or to see the probabi... (read more)

6. How to Install Dye Sublimation Cloth Banners onto Stands or Trade Show Display Frames
January 27, 2015
LAST UPDATED ON: July 30, 2018
There are many different apparati for utilizing dye sublimation printed fabrics. The simplest method is, of course, to hang a print similar to how you'd hang a banner - by tacking it to a wall or hanging it from grommets and using screws or nails to attach it to a wall.
Using a Hanging Rod with a Fishing Line After that, the next easiest method to hang a banner would be to use a hanging rod with fishing line, wire, string, or rope (depending on the size and weight of your hanging bar/banner combo. This method will typically require that you ... (read more)

7. How to Set Up Pop Up Trade Show Displays and Fabric Graphics Installation
December 08, 2014
Attaching Dye Sublimated Fabric Banners on Display Frames
There are several ways that printed fabric banners are attached to trade show display frames; I'll list them below.
One method is the pullover method where the dye sub fabric graphic is pulled over top of the frame like a sock. It is sewn together on the top, and sometimes will have another rectangle of fabric added on the top if it is going over a frame with a rectangular foot print. This method is often used with "serpentine" displays and also on trade show booth tables/kiosks.
The advantage to this style of display is ... (read more)

8. How to Choose the Company Who'll Make Your Trade Show Booth
November 09, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: May 9, 2018
The single most important qualification of any company undertaking your graphic requirements for ANY type of advertising, trade shows included, is to either understand direct marketing theory and practice, or at least not get in the way of it.
It's Your Message First and Foremost The unvarnished truth is that if your advertising is ugly but the message catches readers and/or listeners, the advertising is going to be successful. Many an advertising agency has sacrificed the current successful advertising campaign for an amazing looking but usele... (read more)

9. How Various Banner Stands Can Improve Your Entire Trade Show Display Impact
October 16, 2014
Marketing events deliver sufficient chance for businesses in almost any industry along with any focus to mingle with targeted clientele inside a fairly intimate setting and go visit head using the competition. Many business leaders and chief executives will agree that promotional event participation offers a perfect ROI storm of face-to-face interaction, lead generation, competitor sizing up and, most significantly, conversion to a lot more than warrant the first expenses. However, in today's economic system, fiscal responsibility remains paramount for organizations looking to sustain growth. ... (read more)

10. Planning a Purchase for Trade Show Displays
October 08, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: April 18, 2018
Of course, you'll need literature stands, display racks or cabinets if you're a retailer or product distributor or manufacturer, depending on the type of show you're attending. Tables with table runners are also popular with some exhibitors depending on their product or service. On the aisles it's a good idea to have roll-up banners (a.ka. pull-up or retractable banners) or similar banner stands with an enticing reason for the show goers to step into your booth. Aside from that, how's your marketing and sales thrust working for you. If you don't have... (read more)

11. How To Better Organize Your Trade Show Display
September 24, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: March 20, 2018
There are a couple basic "rules" that we advise our clients on. Well, not really rules, but a backwall graphic will typically go at the back of the booth, so I guess you could violate that "rule" if you want to, but it isn't too likely you'll get any visitors because it'll be blocking the entrance to the booth!
What We Tell Our Clients Our advice is to use some type of sign on the edge of the aisles inviting people to come into your booth for a drawing or something free. "Free" is still a word that works wonders in getting people to give you ... (read more)

12. How Long Does a Fabric Dye Sublimated Trade Show Display Last
August 27, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: February 28, 2018 There are a lot of factors one should consider in how long a trade show booth will last, but the biggest one is what I'll address first, and that is the proper care and feeding of a trade show booth.
Quality Materials The materials that most booths are constructed from this decade (and even last decade for the most part), are good quality materials such as aluminum or fiberglass for the frame, and vinyl or cloth fabric or other good quality materials for the graphics that will last for a decade - if they are treated with care.

13. What You May Want to Know as a Trade Show Exhibitor
August 05, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: February 19, 2018
You might have one of these questions going into a trade show event as an exhibitor. We're going to exhibit at a trade show next month. Do we need to use the employees at the convention center to set up our pop up display? That is a question you will need to ask the particular convention center you're going to be at. I know that many of these venues have their own set of rules and are run by unions that require you to use their services, but you'll definitely want to check with the management of the convention center you're headed to for spe... 14. Determining the Success or Failure of a Trade Show Display
July 07, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: February 7, 2018 It is often difficult to tell whether a trade show display or booth is good or bad without taking it as a whole. For instance, it may be an absolutely glorious visual display, but have nothing that tells you definitively why you should stop by. Of course, if the display is for a nationally or internationally recognized brand, it can get by with more than if your company or the company you represent if you're trying to gain a foothold in a market or have a new product or service that is an unknown to potential clients.

15. Better for Trade Shows - Panel System Or Pop Up Display
May 11, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: January 14, 2018
If you're going to be attending several trade shows a year, and you want to vary your photos with each show, the panel system might be a good way to go. However, in our opinion, it is not the most attractive option when it comes to trade show booths and displays. It's not butt ugly either.
Installation: Panel System While it is a fairly simple system, the panel system is more difficult to erect and install than a plain pop up banner system. The frame has to be erected, which is not difficult, then the heavy fabric panels attached using mag... (read more)

16. What Type of Trade Show Booth Fits Your Business
April 22, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: December 17, 2017
What are your goals at this trade show?
Good Advertising and Marketing Methods Before launching into the type of trade show display you need, I always first caution our clients to have done proper marketing and advertising before you leap into spending $25,000 to $50,000 (plus or minus) on a trade show. The average cost for a 10' x 20' trade show booth, not including travel, hotel, food, etc., is around $10K. Larger areas, of course, cost more both in terms of floor space and display graphics. What do I mean by having done proper mark... (read more)

18. Trade Show Display that Fits Your Company
March 08, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: December 6, 2017
What type of trade show booth or exhibit would you recommend to fit our company's needs? The answer to this question will depend a lot on what your goals are. Do you use trade shows to boost retail sales? There are certain companies that rely on trades shows, fairs, conventions, etc., to make most of their sales. This type of company usually sells a retail item such as cookware or women's make-up that is not available in retail outlets, but sold strictly by independent or a company operated sales force.

February 16, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: November 30, 2017 There are literally thousands of options when you start to look for a trade show display and all the accompanying displays and materials. Our first question to you would be - what is the booth size and location you have chosen? 21. Purchase or Rent Trade Show Booth and Display?
January 20, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: May 3, 2019
Question: We were wondering if it is better to purchase a trade show booth exhibit or if we should rent one instead? We would ask, in response to your question, "What is your objective?" Or maybe "What is your long term objective?" Are you planning to use this one time? Is this an experiment? If you've never exhibited at a trade show in the past, but you'd like to give it a whirl, then maybe you'll want to try a less expensive route by purchasing graphics only for a booth, rather than the whole enchilada. However, if you've already got a show ... (read more)

22. How to Attach Trade Show Booth Graphics to Pop Up Frames, Plus, Front Runner Fabrics
January 16, 2014
LAST UPDATED ON: May 3, 2019 Question: I'm new to trade show booths and graphics, and I was curious as to how the fabric display graphics attach to the pop up frames? There are three main ways that dye sublimation printed fabric graphics attach to pop up displays. The first way, and probably the most common way, is for the fabric to have loop Velcro tabs sewn on the back side of the graphic around the edges of the fabric. Then the frame will have adhesive tabs that match up to the tabs on the fabric, and after you've popped up the frame you simply match the tabs to each o... (read more)

Question: We're considering promoting our company this fall at a trade show. What are the key issues we need to consider in designing our trade show booth? That is a loaded question! There are so many facets to planning to promote your company at a trade show, and the trade show booth and graphics are only a portion of what you need to consider in your preparations. If your company already has brand recognition, which is unlikely unless you're working for a major consumer products company, your marketing department needs to know what is working... (read more)
