Author Comment / Biography: William Buchanan has worked in the fields of marketing, advertising, and marketing research for almost 50 years. He has been an Adjunct Professor in Marketing and Strategic Planning at Trinity International University.
His initial education was an undergraduate degree from Kent State University with a double-major in chemistry and economics, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Management.
After graduate school William became a Vice President for Leo Burnett advertising where he worked for 13 years creating advertising strategies and marketing programs for large, international companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Nestle Foods.
After Leo Burnett, William became the Senior Marketing Manager for the $1 billion NutraSweet brand, later heading the company’s Marketing Research Department in developing systems to understand brand equity.
Upon leaving The NutraSweet Company he became the Senior Vice President at ASI Market Research, developing and commercializing new research methodologies.
He is a co-founder of BrilliantDoc, helping medical practices build their patient base online.
