Memorable Quote 1: I government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take it all away - Barry Goldwater

Memorable Quote 2: it can be proven with facts and figures that Congress is the only native criminal class in America - Mark Twain

Author Comment / Biography:
My name is Bruno Korschek and I currently live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I have a BS in Mathematics from the University of Delaware and an MS in Statistics, also from Delaware. I spent over twenty two years in various business and market analysis jobs with a Fortune 100 company and for the past twelve years I have operated a successful family bussiness that I started in 1998. For over 35 years I have been fasciinated with the interplay between freedom and politics, concluding that they are inversely related: the more power politicians gain, the less liberty American have. This conclusoin and my other research led to the publication of my first book in late 2009, "Love My Country, Loathe My Governmnet - Fifty First Steps To Restoring Our Freedom and Destroying The American Political Class."

11. Government Accounting: So Bad That Even Highly Trained Auditors Give Up
February 08, 2013

It should come as no surprise to most Americans that the size of the Federal government has gotten totally out of control, so large and so atrophied:

- Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security have gotten so big and so unwieldy from a government bureaucracy perspective that they lose over $20...

12. Maybe We Should Try Some Hate Control Before We Try More Gun Control
January 18, 2013

As most informed people know, there was a tragic and senseless school shooting incident in Newtown, Connecticut last month that left defenseless children and adults killed by an obviously deranged young man. It is inconceivable to most people how a young man can go so astray that he murders random p...

13. Why We No Longer Live In A Free Country
January 04, 2013

As we start the new year, one would hope that we could look forward to better times and better lives. However, in the U.S. democracy, that might be a tall order, given the obscene growth and reach of the Federal government in this country and the politicians that operate it. Read the following obser...

14. Why Jimmy Carter Is Off The Hook - The Legacy of Failure Of The Obama Administration
October 22, 2012

Before I get into my conclusions on why Jimmy Carter is now off the hook as the worst President I have ever seen, replaced by the failed legacy of President Obama, let me set the stage:

- Until the midterm elections in November, 2010 I had never voted for a Republican for national office, Pr...

15. The Final Sign Of The Finanical Apocalypse- Even Politicians Now Admit They Ruined Our Economy
October 03, 2012

It is no secret that the U.S. economy continues to plod along in a continued, long term economic funk:

* 42 consecutive months of the official unemployment rate greater than 8%.

* A combined unemployment and underemployment rate of almost 15%.

* Household income that has dro...

16. How To Painlessly Reduce Our $16 Trillion National Debt By At least $9 Trillion
September 16, 2012

Earlier this month the U.S. Federal government national debt went over the $16 TRILLION threshold during the Demcoratic national convention. This debt level is $5 TRILLION higher than when President Obama took office and will grow anywhere from about $3.4 TRILLION to over $7 TRILLION higher in the n...

17. Fun With Math: Making Our $16 Trillion National Debt Easy To Understand...And Fear
September 09, 2012

Sometime this week the U.S. Federal government exceeded the $16 TRILLION threshold of national debt. I found it ironic that the Presidential administration that has added more to that level of debt than any other previous administration, increasing it by about 50% in less than four years, is also ha...

18. The WashingtonTrain of Corruption, Cronyism, and Wasteful Spending Continues Rolling Down The Track
July 14, 2012

The Associated Press reported on another treasure trove of Washington corruption in an article that was published on July 5, 2012. However, before discussing that new wave of corruption, let's review some of the other major corruption and cronyism instances that have occurred over just the past few ...

19. Mining The Federal Treasury - Corporate Welfare For The Wealthy
July 04, 2012

Most Democrats, including the President, and their left wing, Keynesian economists cringe at the thought of the Federal government cutting spending. They hold onto the failed theory that government spending is essential to the functioning of our economy. They never seem to care, investigate, or unde...

20. GSA Wastes Thousands Of Dollars: Heads Roll, Politicians Waste Millions Of Dollars: Good Times Roll
June 18, 2012

I am always amused when politicians actually try to do their job and get all in a lather, especially when they are on camera during Congressional hearings. They are outraged, they want answers, they want copies of documents and emails, they want people fired, they want to know how the injustice unde...
