How to write computer science papers that sell With the emerging technology and the need to have papers to assess the viability of computer science innovations, the need to have writers who understand these innovations has never been this important. Computer science papers will either be research papers, discussing new technology that has been developed, or making reference points that researchers will use to explain their new discoveries. One of the requirements is that computer science writers are expected to understand the trends of technology development so that they are able to relate with the new developments. Any new technology is a build-up on past technologies. Technology writers are required to have a chronology of past technologies to be able to grasp and articulate how the new technologies and how they will be useful in the future. It requires wide reading and command of different technologies. There is a lot of interoperability of these technologies. There are quite a number of technologies that are covered in computer science. These technologies have emerged from computer programming, to algorithms. Other fields include computer networking, to computer crypto-technology, and Artificial Intelligence. All these have a way in which they connect. Technology writers will have to understand the basics of these, and even have a good command of these technologies so that they are able to write papers that are understood and have some direction. Computer science writing has been a significant part of the learning process. Long ago, it was believed that computer science was all about system development and not much research. This belief is fast fading away. It is now a requirement to have papers that will capture the developments of computer science and technology ass it will help future writers and researchers to reference what has been developed so far. Good writing, in any field, will need a good understanding of the concept that is being researched.
