Many have seen the pins that are worn on a person’s vest or jacket. Nevertheless, pins are worn to show rank, leadership, events participated in or just worn because they like the pin and what the pin says or means. Also, the Ace of Spades: This can mean several things, but the general meaning is that the wearer will defend themselves to the last breath should the need arise, even if it results in someone else's death. This is particularly the case if the AOS patch contains a skull or the words "Bringer of Death". Charity Run Pins: Charity pins are pins awarded for attending and riding in a charity run. In the run donations are made, and support for the cause is shown through riding in a large group with other supports. Charity pins usually state the year, particular charity, and often the club that hosts the run. There are pins that are different sizes and different meanings to a person. Pins can be given from an award for reaching a goal. Some people who wear a flag pin that just show where the person is from themselves or where their ancestors came from. Here is a little history of one member from a club and how he started. "Billy Warlock was interviewed and said that the Club was started in 1971 and it all started with Park Benches and hippies. Billy Warlock said his original aspirations was to become a Fireman. When they formed the club Billy was hesitant about joining. His bike was torn apart and had to ride his bicycle to work each day. His friend Grubb drove him home after he was drunk, took him to the club house and then he became a Warlock. This is a true family by heart. Pins are not just worn without the permission from someone who is head in a club or group. I have spoken to some members of a group and I was told they are only allowed to have a certain number of pins that are not part of the club and just worn because the person likes the pin. Pins have been around for centuries literally and they are made to be inserted easily and removed easily without damage. The President pin indicates the wearer is the president for either the club he/she is involved with, or president for the charter of the club he/she is involved with. You have to be the President of a group or club to wear this pin. When you are given a pin like that you well deserved its title and proudly wear the pin or pins on a jacket or vest.
